Came here just for the โ€œnormal jobโ€ vid because it looked perfectly normal to me! Especially for a 28 year old white male (and sure, maybe an introvert). Plus fun dog training? And now I want to know, ok weirdos who think itโ€™s depressing, what job do you have?! Spelunking guide? Circus ringleader? Rollercoaster tycoon?

Another thing that was perfectly normal? Super dark 90s movies. As a youngin I think I didnโ€™t really blink twice at Se7en and the box scene, but now Iโ€™m not so sure?

Happy Friday! The Silence of the Lambs is one of my go-to rewatchables and I've read the book a few times. I've yet to watch Seven....maybe I won't now?

My boyfriend was stationed in Japan in the 20teens; this is my 2nd hand advice from his stories:

Carry a little packet of tissue or toilet paper with you all the time-the bathrooms are extremly clean but you have to pay for the toilet paper in some of them, don't know if this is still true, but maybe just in case...??

Onsen is a must, it sounds so relaxing! There are co-ed and non co-ed ones so that might be a consideration.

There is a city where deer are sacred and they walk around every where in the city and you can be so close to them and it sounds so cute and cool! I don't know the name though, might be Nara Park

I'd love to go to any Daiso (100 yen/dollar store) or specifically the flagship store in Tokyo-he never even heard of Daiso while there-but he is the extreme version of someone who does not like shopping LOL

Happy travel planning-I agree, the thrill of trip planning is awesome!
