The whole bit about regretful parents is admittedly fascinating. Perhaps because I made the Childfree choice fearing I’d be one of those parents. When my parent-friends face issues, I want to run away and crawl under a rock, but your invitation to reach out and help is obviously much more helpful. Also, now that my niece/nephew are teenagers, I feel way more in my element and confident when offer to help. (AKA it’s ok if small children aren’t our jam.)
